About

I’m Kristine, the hands and heart behind Fuzzy Matter.

I’ve always been fascinated by nature and how a simple yet bold pattern can transform a room. I’m drawn to those small, impactful touches in homes that spark curiosity and reveal the personalities within. People who dare to be themselves inspire me.

I came a long way resisting my true self. Always thinking I was left-brained, I put everything well in order and made systems work. Excel this and Excel that.

But the more I tried to follow the rules, the louder the call to create became. I realized I always have been a creative at heart — someone who delights in the unexpected, who thrives by doing things differently, and who finds joy in following curiosity instead of the crowd.

Our debut "Stripe Ritual" edition was created out of curiosity about where life can—and could—take us. What happens if we stop worrying and let go of control? What happens if control is established and worries are resolved? The stripes, which seem to follow a predetermined path, can still meander into utterly unexpected directions. That is a gentle reminder: let us try to let go.

The "Stripe Ritual" edition makes a striking impression in deep black and natural white. Each piece of art is lovingly hand‑tufted by using 100% premium, ethically sourced wool. No two stripes behave the same way, and that’s exactly how I like it. A little rebellious.
