Privacy Policy
Fuzzy Matter ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you join our waitlist, buy a ticket, or make an inquiry, we collect what you give us directly: your name and email address. When you buy a ticket, you can also tell us about dietary preferences or allergies — this is optional, and we only use it to plan the drinks and snacks at that event. If you buy a physical product once our shop is live, fulfilling that order will also require a delivery address. We don't collect anything beyond what's needed for the reason you gave it to us.
How we use it
We use your details to run the club: to let you know about events, apply your member perks, respond to inquiries, and — once payments are live — process ticket and product orders. We don't sell your data to anyone.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run the club — for example, a future payment processor (Shopify) for orders, an email tool to send updates, or PostHog (hosted in the EU) for privacy-friendly website analytics, if you've consented to it. We require anyone we work with to keep your data secure and use it only for the purpose we asked them to.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're an active member or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to how we use it, and to ask us to move it elsewhere. To use any of these rights, contact us at fuzzymatter.craftclub@gmail.com.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: some are strictly necessary to make the site work (like remembering your cart or your cookie choice), and — only with your consent — we use PostHog, an EU-hosted analytics tool, to understand how visitors experience the site and to record on-page interactions (all typed input is masked, so we never capture what you type). We don't run advertising cookies. You can accept or decline the optional ones any time via the banner or the 'Cookie preferences' link in the footer.
